About the Founder

“WiBE is not only about career growth; it’s about finding a sense of belonging and solidarity that keeps you grounded and whole as a leader.”-Lisa

In the last two decades, I’ve collaborated with hundreds of business schools across twenty-two countries. From writing strategic plans and developing new programs to establishing partnerships, I’ve met the most amazing women.

I wanted to bring together these trailblazing, brilliant, clever, rock star, and courageous leaders, but the timing never seemed right.

But then four years ago, in the midst of isolation during the COVID pandemic, I decided I couldn’t wait any longer to create a supportive space for women business school leaders. That’s when I established WiBE – to fill that gap and create a community where we can thrive together.

But WiBE is so much more than a network.

WiBE was designed to help you succeed by providing top-notch resources & speakers, valuable mentorship, and a supportive community that’s always in your corner.

By joining WiBE I want you to gain access to a wealth of knowledge and experience, and connect with a fantastic group of b-school professionals around the world who share your drive and passion.

We want you to be uplifted, motivated, and ready to achieve your fullest potential.

I can’t wait to meet you inside the membership community.

—Lisa Leander, Founder & CEO, Women in Business Education

In between the sangria, touring and WiBE dinners in Barcelona, Spain I had the pleasure to sit and chat with over 30 deans.   And it got me thinking about the question:   What makes a super successful, trailblazing, and beloved Dean?   In my experience...
