Who can participate in the #WiBEcreate Conference?

Our WiBE Annual Conference is the opportunity to bring all stakeholders together to discuss gender equality and diversity and inclusion in business education.  This year we will focus on finding creative solutions to our greatest challenges.  All are warmly welcome.

  • Men and women in business education
  • Private sector partners and related organizations working in higher education
  • Those working in higher education fields with an interest in professional development and leadership
  • Members and non-members of WiBE
I can't join in -person, is there a hybrid or virtual option?

Right now the plan is to only offer the event in-person.  There will not be a hybrid option to join virtually.  If health cirucumstances significantly change in the United States and we are no longer able to meet in person, we will plan to move the conference fully virtual during the same time period.  We invite you to come meet our members and connect in person.

Can I be a speaker at this event?

We are close to finalizing the agenda and we won’t be able to meet all the interest for session facilitators.  However, we are certainly open to hearing about new and innovative programs or research, whether at the summit or WiBE events throughout the year!  Please submit your topic idea to membership@wibenetwork.com.

I am not at a business school, can I still attend?

Definitely!  Whether you are an academic in another field looking for leadership inspiration, in the corporate or private sector looking to engage in higher education, or another stakeholder with a passion for change, you are warmly welcome to join us.

I am a recruiter looking for diverse talent, how can I participate?

We love recruiters!  We are happy to have you attend and network with our audience.  there will be opportunities to recruiters to exhibit if there is interest, please email membership@wibenetwork.com for more information.

What is your refund policy?

Your ticket may be fully refunded, minus processing fees, up to 90 days prior to the event start date.

After 90 days prior to the event start date, if you are no longer able to attend, the full amount of your ticket may be used towards a future event for WiBE.

If you are unable to travel for documented sickness, positive COVID 19 test, or are exhibiting COVID 19 related symptoms, a full refund will be made.

You may elect to transfer your conference registration to someone else by sending an email to membership@wibenetwork.com.

 

I can't attend now, can someone else go in my place?
Yes, email create@wibenetwork.com with your name, confirmation # or invoice along with the name, contact information, including email, of the person who will attend.
Do you have an alternative option to paying with a credit card?
Yes, please email create@wibenetwork.com with your information and an invoice along with payment information will be shared. Note registration is not confirmed until payment is received.
I plan to register a group, is there a discount?

Yes, there is a discounted rate for groups of five or more.  Please email create@wibenetwork.com for more information.

Do you offer scholarships to attend?

There are a limited number of scholarships available.  Please contact create@wibenetwork.com for more information.

Can I get an Invitation Letter to apply for an entry Visa?
Yes, but only after paid registration will a visa letter be sent.  Please email your full name, contact information, arrival and departure dates, country of origin, and registration confirmation to membership@wibenetwork.com and an invitation letter, in PDF format, will be emailed within 5 business days.
